Dinosaur

Reza, known by the nickname “Dinosaur,” is struggling with substance dependence while working in an environment that requires employees to remain drug-free. When his employer demands a negative drug-test certificate, Reza realizes that his job is in immediate danger.

Instead of dealing honestly with his situation, he searches for a quick solution. With the involvement of his friend Jalal, Reza tries several questionable methods to remove all traces of drugs from his body before the examination.

On the day of the test, an unexpected mistake changes everything. The result creates a much more serious misunderstanding and sends Reza and the people around him into a confusing chain of schemes, arguments, and dangerous encounters.

As Reza attempts to regain control, each new decision makes the problem larger. His friendship with Jalal is tested, while several opportunistic people become involved for their own benefit.

The film uses these escalating situations to explore dishonesty, addiction, friendship, and the consequences of constantly searching for shortcuts.
