Sad Sal Be In Salha Movie (فیلم صد سال به این سالها)Sad Sal Be In Salha, also known internationally as Miss Iran, is an Iranian historical and social drama written and directed by Saman Moghadam. The film follows one woman’s life across three turbulent decades of modern Iranian history.
Maryam is an Iranian human-rights activist who has spent six years in prison. After experiencing serious health problems, she receives a rare seven-day medical leave.
During this brief period outside prison, Maryam is secretly reunited with her husband, Behnam, and their two children, who now live in Germany. Her family has arranged a dangerous escape route and hopes she will cross the border with them to begin a new life.
Maryam must now choose between two futures. Escaping would allow her to remain with the family she deeply misses, but it would also mean leaving behind the cause and community to which she has dedicated much of her life. Returning to prison would continue her struggle, while once again separating her from her husband and children.
As the seven days pass, emotional conversations reveal the effects of Maryam’s imprisonment on every member of the family. The decision becomes a conflict between personal happiness and commitment to a wider purpose.
