Mahboubeh and Iraj are a middle-class married couple living with their two children, Parvaneh and Parham. After years of working and saving money, they finally find an opportunity to purchase a home in Tehran. The new house initially represents security, stability, and a better future for the family.
Their happiness does not last long. The property is connected to secrets that begin to affect their relationship and reveal unresolved problems from the past. As suspicion grows, trust between Mahboubeh and Iraj becomes increasingly fragile.
The series examines the pressure that financial difficulties can place on a marriage. Iraj tries to protect his family, but some of his choices and concealed actions create additional uncertainty. Mahboubeh is forced to question what she knows about her husband while attempting to keep the family together.
Instead of presenting its conflict as a simple disagreement, Gol-e Sang explores how secrets, economic pressure, and emotional distance can gradually damage a relationship. The characters must confront uncomfortable truths and decide whether their family can survive the consequences.
The series is directed by Ebrahim Irajzad, produced by Zeinab Taghvaei, and written by Payam Karami and Ebrahim Irajzad.
Its cast includes Mahtab Keramati, Mehdi Hosseinina, Elnaz Malek, Amir Norouzi, Alireza Sanifar, Fatemeh Masoudifar, Mehdi Ghorbani, and Mehroo Nonahali.
Gol-e Sang may appeal to viewers who enjoy realistic Iranian dramas about marriage, family responsibilities, and social pressure. The series focuses on recognizable human problems while gradually revealing the secrets behind its central conflict.
Overall, Gol-e Sang is an emotional story about a family discovering that owning a new home does not necessarily provide peace or security.
